Casa Maranda

This beautiful modern Villa is situated at Val Formosa Just North of the route 125, and mid Way between Val de Lobo and the market town of Loule. This villa is ideal for holidaymakers who do not like large tourist developments.
 Casa Maranda has six large traditionally furnished bedrooms, all with air conditioning. Three of which are twin and three double. The master double has an en-suite bathroom. There are a further two family bathrooms, and a shower room.

The lounge is very large with a beautiful wood burning stove set into a traditional stone fireplace with a marble hearth. This theme of marble is continued in the floors thoughout the main living areas. Lookout for the fools gold embedded in the veining.

There is a good sized dining room with a table seating twelve at a squeeze. Through an arch into the modern family sized kitchen, containing all the facilities you would expect from a villa of this quality.

Outside is a very large cobbled terrace with two tiled tables with bench seating situated in the shade of the balcony. This then leads down to a large swimming pool, which has underwater lighting, superb for an evening dip. At one end of the pool is the purpose built barbecue area ideal for those who enjoy dining in the great outdoors. There are also lots of sun-loungers and parasols for the sun-worshippers among you.

Casa Maranda is surrounded by two thirds of an acre of mature lawns set with flowering semi-tropical shrubs and palms. To the rear of the property are a small selection of fruit trees, and you are more than welcome to try lemons, oranges or Satsuma's fresh from the tree.

The long driveway leads up to a double garage under the villa, where you will also find the washing facilities and a spare fridge for beer, soft drinks etc.

Maintenance is overseen by Bill and Sharon, who live locally. Both he and his wife are English and they will assist you in the unlikely event of a maintenance problem.
